I'm Still Here

Brown Food
I've been busy doing some writing elsewhere. I'm engrossed; gotta get my head out of this, erm, hole and rejoin the world.
I haven't even photoed any food lately, but yesterday's beef Stroganoff was el yummo. El yummicito.
Come to think about it, it would have been a horrible picture. Brown food.

If your other writing is what I think it is, I'd like to read it... :-)

Zoomie: It is. But, nope. Not public yet. xx

Pants on the ground?

Again I seem to be cooking the same stuff you are... but I'm behind this time. I am planning for stroganoff this week -

isn't it sad that brown food looks so bad through the eyes of the camera? I see another possible blog going nowhere for me :-)

(I agree with Zoomie, by the way)

I've been on Mold Patrol. It's been great.

Zoomie: Looking like a fool with your pants on the ground!

Sally: Seasonal one-track-mindedness, eh? Have a good strog. (The other thing I'm writing is caustic and blistering and very sad, and I think I'm going to incorporate recipes in it.)

Papa: We call that Cream of Bottom of the Refrigerator Soup.

Biggles: Why are you plagiarizing Papa?

Too many email accounts! OH, and fumbly fangers.

Time for a nap yet?

xo, Biggles

Your title reminds me of the wonderful archaic description of mood, "...in a brown study.." Somewhere in the Sixties (Bolinas?) there was a little bookstore with that name. I can just see the sign, but can't remember where it was!

Plenty of those pants on the ground these days, aren't there? Don't these guys know that zippers go up as well as down and "no, thanks" is an acceptable answer?

Kudzu: I know that phrase. TOO sad for me; I'll stick with blue. (Though it's really black.)

Zoomie: Hat turned sideways, Pants hit the ground

Are you ghost-writing Sarah Palin's next book "No you can't?" (or is it "Oh, no you don't?, You betcha?")

cookiecrumb said...

Peter: No, man. I'm doing songs for General Larry Platt.
