I have several shots of Bartlett devouring her rawhide stick (and for you purists, it's a digestible, PC stick). But most of them are out of focus.
This dog is Da Wiggle!
I'm unexpectedly happy about what a chore this pup is. She's a project. And, yet, not. She's what a dog is. A puppy. So normal, so troublesome. So pleasurable.
Today we had some sassy bark time. Wow, what a bitch. Then it devolved into cuddle and romp time. Wow, what a girl!
I'm liking the development.

The cuteness is nearly incapacitating.
Squeeee, so much wonderfulness in a puppy. They keep you young, I'm told.
She looks like a flying fox in that picture - full of mischief. I think you have your hands delightfully full.
You know, looking at her little face, upside down and all, she looks a little like a fruitbat. In a good way.
Ahh what a cutie. Now I wonder will I ever get to meet her!
Sweet Bird: She's got just enough scamp in her that the cuteness doesn't suffocate. (But, oh, when she sleeps in the crook of my arm! Swoon.)
Mouse: I'm getting a workout. Doctors should prescribe puppies for sedentary crones like me.
Zoomie: Thank goodness our yard is fenced! (As for flying, don't think she hasn't tried.)
Mouse: Not that there's anything wrong with that! You should see her perfect, tiny teeth. (No fangs; whew.)
Chris: I WANT you to meet her, of course. Let's make plans.
Being the parent of a dog with inexhaustible depths of energy and wigglability, I understand fully. She is adorable beyond words.
Sean: I can't stop thinking about how much I'd like to see these two gals, yours and mine, in the same room. Seriously!
This picture/post makes me cry. I am so glad you have the pup.
Even her long claws are cool!
Ahh so cute. Glad Cranky is proving such a wizz in the kitchen.
squeee indeed. looks like a black joey! cute.
I am happy to see you so happy - enjoying your delightful little puppy and Cranky's cooking.
Moonbear: I picked the most demonic photo. Obviously there are sweet, quiet times. But I never knew how much I'd like the chaos! Your brown little girl and mine should meet. Along with Sean's.
Zoomie: Her claws aren't long; that was an optical illusion from the camera and the motion! Her claws aren't even white.
Barbara: I'd like to say Cranky is a natural... but I'd also like to say I've loved coaching him to a great level of cooking.
Kelly: Joey! Ha ha! All these different animals she reminds you of. I sometimes call her an otter.
Nancy: I figured it out -- don't force happiness. It's fake. Let it come. Sigh...
I hope you have many years of wiggly fun with Bartlett!
Absolutely adorable! I love reading your blog and I've especially enjoyed reading about the new puppy adventures.
Lannae: Friday would have been Bean Sprout's sixth birthday... Poor kid. Of course we're hoping we'll have many more years with Bartlett.
Kat: Heartfelt thanks! Dog loves Kat.
