Live Active Cultures

This may be the earliest we've ever pulled together our tax statements and mortgage documents and paltry income records, to trot over to our CPA for our appointment today. Cranky was up before me this morning, searching for various papers and receipts, filling out the tax worksheet, trying to remember all the possibly allowable deductions. Good fella.
But then we were just wiped out after the appointment. (We? Cranky laughs.) We got good news on how much we'll have to pay, but mentally (here it comes... incoming!) it has been taxing.
So I'm going to let Sam write my blog today. I'm using my own photo, but she gets all the credit for promoting a super, intelligent, responsible product — and its creators, Saint Benoît Yogurt — which happens to be "local" for Sam and me and a whole bunch of our homies.

Thank you for the list above. I looked at the site to confirm that they indeed sell the stuff at the Andronico's near me. They do. Have I mentioned how much I love Andronico's?

I've enjoyed that yogurt during my last trips to SF and the Ferry Building. Good stuff. Thanks for the reminder, cookiecrumb and Sam!

Wow! This sounds awesome - I love the photo too. I was wishing this weekend that I would have had less structured time and could have arranged a visit to bother you - maybe next time I'm down your way? :)

Thanks all, and way thanks to Sam. The day I snapped that picture at the Ferry Plaza market, I was not the only person there with a snazzy camera, shooting gorgeous produce and accidentally beautiful stacks of returned yogurt jars. We're a bunch of nut cases.
Wow, Vanessa, you found the yogurt! Good. Yes, Dagny, look for it. I like Andronico's too. Ilva: You are my friend; we food bloggers are nothing but kindness. Michelle: I thought of proposing a get-together. I'm sure about 20 of us would have changed our schedules to go meet you. Next time! (Did excellent boyfriend get the job?)
