This is certainly welcome, long-overdue, and good news. Although, I have to say that it's rather dispiriting to think that a full 36% of the American population still supports the incompetent, craven, depraved criminal currently occupying the White House. I mean really, what's it going to take for these people?!

NS: Thank you!
I know, who ARE these people?
Well, remember what you learned in school. If the average IQ is 100, and if half the people have IQs of less than 100... Look at it this way. Do you even know anybody with an IQ of 100? Yeah, dumb as s***. So who are all those other people? Yep.
Folks: The president is not the pope. And the pope is not god. Think for yourself!
(Ahem. Hope that helps. Thangyaverramush.)

what bothers me more are the undecided...exactly how on the fence can one be about the present situation? honestly, do you think they are this indifferent when they order pizza?

if the revolution is televised they will have front row seats!

I work with people who still support Bush. *sigh*

To paraphrase a line from Get Your War On: how can there not be a decimal point in that number? What does it take?

I actually work with polls and after reviewing a few thousand questions, I have determined that about 20% of the American public is stark raving mad. That's the number you will get who believe that natural disasters are a punishment from God for evil living, or who believe aliens visit the earth. One in five Americans, completely insane. So you're left with 16% who are presumably capable of rational thought, but still approve of Bush. I think given another year, he can knock them out, too. (Cheney already has. His ratings have reached the magical 20% crazy zone).

Definitely good news!

But why has Ahnuld's approval rating gone UP 8%? Probably because he's been relatively quiet for a while now. Hrrmmmph.
