Hi. I'm back.
Exactly a year since I last posted. I felt it was time. I'm sorta ready again.
I had a bad year. I could not have blogged, for money or brownies. I was recovering from a very badly broken foot (the doctor tells me this on the last day I saw him). I felt dull, unintelligent. I kept trying to decide what my blog was about, should I ever resume writing.
And it kept being about food.
I acquired four or five adorable new cookbooks during the past year but I was free from feeling forced to come up with fabulous meals, and photographing them. One of my cameras quit working, anyway. I emailed a few iPad photos to my mainframe computer, but my email program isn't working.
Yeah, I've had a hard time.
But I think I want to do this.
I'm back.

Ohai! Sorry to hear about the bummer year and foot. There is something in the cosmos because a handful of wonderful bloggers like you whom I used to follow are blogging again. It's like Christmas! Anyway, glad you're back and feeling better.

I've missed you! And in this past year, I've quit the food blog, and just do the quilting and travel. Greetings from Yellowstone, where I'm working all summer. Glad to see you back.
