Last Day, Not Much to Say

I just don't ever want to see your lying mug again.
Well, maybe in a court of law.
Worst President Ever.
(Is that drool on your chin? Probably. Can't even swallow right.)
Hey, whoa! I'm still mad!

I'm still mad too!

But I am glad the nightmare is coming to an end. Let's see what doozies he comes up with in the pardon department.

I've got my fingers crossed about that whole court of law thing. Of course, my friend and I think that he and Cheney should not go to jail. Instead they should be forced to live like the poorest residents in our nation. My friend also suggested that they have to apply for health insurance. See how much it costs with all those pre-existing conditions.

He’s so, so, simian really. I know we all are, deep down in our genes but it really, really shows on that mug, doesn’t it?

El: I gotta check the news. DC is already COB for the day, so his pardoning moments are over.

Kailyn: Oh, cowboy justice? But, yeah, I can't wait to see him be a civilian.

Susan: With sugar on top.

Greg: I'm feeling... better already! Thanks.

Anita: I think I'm sticking with mad. Such a useful emotion. (secretly glad)

Risamay: You get it. We can simultaneously carry these two moods and apply, lather, and rinse as necessary.

Morgan: This is one of the dopiest photos of him I've ever seen. He's completely unaware he makes faces like this.

Kailyn said...

Well didn't he always imagine himself to be a cowboy? Seems fitting to me...

Worst. President. Ever.

Even my 83 year old dad says so.

I am so happy to see him go!

Kailyn: Oh, he thinks he's a cowboy. But I just don't want this new administration to be involved with vigilanteism. In fact. Obama wants to just brush the whole mess away. Which makes me mad, so I'm still mad.

Kalyn: My 85-year-old dad too! Who voted for Bush 41. (Not sure who he voted for in 2000, but by 2004, I think his heart was broken.)

You have a point there. And now I'm both glad and mad with you as well.

Have you heard that Cheney will be in a wheelchair at the ceremony tomorrow?

What a perfect symbol. They had better put shims underneath the wheels while he is on the platform, is all I can say.

I will think of you (and Cranky of course) tomorrow am as I raise my glass of champers -- nothing better than bubbly and scrambled eggs and OBAMA!!!!!!

Yeah for Pelosi for saying that "the law might compel Democrats to press forth on some prosecutions of Bush administration officials" (Fox's paraphrase). Truth will out!

LOL just checked in to see what your new header said. ; )

P.S. Did you get my email about the pears last week?

cookiecrumb said...

Kailyn: I do love our conversations.

Kudzu: Didn't Cheney look like a crushed beetle? A fat blob of fugeddaboudit in a Dr. Strangelove chair.
Clink! I toast you with my little glass of shampoo.

Anna: It's good to see Pelosi get a little stronger. She disappointed me the past two years.

Lannae: Relief is one thing, but giddiness and hope -- altogether better!

Susan: How clever that you would know I'd change the banner!
Hey, I didn't get your email. I should probably make a habit of checking my spam file. Try again?

I'd like to see him and Cheney in the dock for war crimes. As far as you being mad - keep on being angry, keep on bearing witness for there is much to be done and keep us remembering your nephew who died in a far away land for a lie. His memory deserves all honor; those who lead them there, based on greed and machismo, do not.

i just want to say that he was are president and that you guys are JERKS for saying stuff like that about a past president. there is no reason to be rude about Bush being our president. if your reason of being so mean is that he sent our croutry in to war well, thats just stupid because the blew up the world tread center. what are we suppose to do. just stand there, while people's dads, grandpas, sisters, brothers, moms, ect. died. i dont think so, and theme get no justice. no we took action. what i am trying to say is that you have no reason to hate him or be disrectful to any one especially a former president of the United States.

Anonymous: OMG, you are incredibly literate! Such good spellin' and all. Jeez.
The attack on the World Trade Center was not committed by Iraq. Not. So, our invasion of that country was immoral and illegal. Get it?
Hey, the president's not the Pope. He's not God. You don't have to worship him. If he fucks up (and Bush did, big time) you get to disrespect him. Which I do. Now go away.
