Too Much Time on My Keyboard

I this new feature I just found. It's a character translator that allows me to view a keyboard, select a funny character, and get its html code. It seems to work just fine on my browser, which is Safari, but it didn't pass the test on Firefox.
If any of you would be so kind as to tell me what you're seeing in the top line here, after the initial "I," I may be able to decide whether this translator is worth the effort.
If you're getting the proper symbol, and you'd like this quick tool for yourself, pay a visit here .

I get a little heart using IE and Opera on a PC with XP, that was a mouthful.
You outta see what Opera does to your site, the banner is all hyped out.
Time for a nap.

Thanks, Doc. I can't believe how warped the site is on IE. Tried to fix it today with no luck. There's so much to learn.
Anyway: dingdingding! Yes, a little heart. Aw...

I dunno, the site looks fine on my IE. Opera is the one I usually have problems with. I'd use firefox, but it reminds me of 1998. Shudder.

So Biggles, your IE looks fine. I unnerstand that Blogger has very little support for Mac IE5, however, so that's probly my problem.
And Jen, you got the heart in Firefox? I'm just not fond of the graphics of Firefox on my Mac, though it's very Blogger-friendly.
Hm.

It's a cute little red heart in Firefox, a cute little black heart on my Onfolio feed reader, and in IE it's an evil tentacled thing with five arms and giant bat wings and it's reaching out to grab me through the screen and ohmygodthehorror.... ahhhhgghghhghgghhhhh...

::ahem. sorry.::
